About the Relay

What: Join us for the 6th Annual Diamond City Mountain Relay - a three day running relay race of around 215 total miles on dirt roads and single tracks through the mountains of Montana.

How It Works: Teams of 6-12 people run relay legs of a set distance (most legs are 3-5 miles) Every team member is required to run at least one leg per day. Two support vehicles provided by the team chase each runner and drop off at designated exchange zones.

When: July 11-13, 2025 starting running around 6 a.m. each day and finishing in the afternoon to early evening. Then spend time with friends old and new in great Montana towns!

Who: Anyone who loves to run! All speeds and ability levels are welcome. We have adult, college, and high school divisions.

Where: Running through Broadwater, Meagher, and Cascade Counties in Montana. Eating, drinking, and sleeping in Townsend and White Sulphur Springs.
